Rosa is a sandbox belonging to the ABC product family, complemented by a low slide, a tabletop and a toy box. There are steps leading to a low (570 mm) platform with a track play panel and the adjoining slide. Behind the slide there is a box for storing toys. By the side of the sandbox there is a small tabletop for playing on. One face of the tabletop has a car-racing track and the other a play stove. The visible face must be chosen on installation, but the tabletop can easily be flipped over at a later stage. The tabletop is strong enough for an adult to sit on, to assist a toddler on the slide. Sandbox play particularly develops a child’s sense of balance and spatial perception.
